This bike is the last project Dave Cloud built, completed in 2017, a Yamaha conversion that cruises one hundred miles on a charge at speeds up to 55 mph. Recharging comes courtesy of 18 laptop chargers wired to take advantage of all available power supplies on Slow, Medium, or Fast Charging.
My housemate moved the bike while I was away, left it ON, and months later I returned to find eight cells would not take a charge, displayed neg readings.
This crazy bike was too much fun to ride and Dave's signature creativity deserves to live on. I can't let it die ilke this.
Can you help me find eight cells to get it back on the road again? It needs only eight (8) WB LYP60AHA cells to bring my 72 volt battery pack to life? The cells are hard to source and expensive to ship overseas. Any spare cells leftover from a previous conversion? Please contact me if you have any leads. Thanks!
