I bought this to build as a project. Originally came with a complicated and weak fork lift controller. I put in a rebuilt Curtis 1221. 72-120v 400amp. I had only ran it at 72 volts and it was slow, 35mph at best. BUT, the batteries were junk to begin with and the brakes/bearings were dragging badly so it Should do much better at full voltage and new brakes. Also, I believe the throttle linkage needs adjusting to reach full travel.
Advance DC motor, Curtis 1221 controller, 72v to 12 volt converter and a whole hatchback full of new in box brake parts. Worth twice as much in parts alone.
I got chased out of the car by wasps last fall and i slammed the door. it is now stuck. Looks like the latch needs oil? you can see the lever move in there, just not far enough to pop open.
I haven't messed with it in 2 year now and the batteries went completely flat so I recycled them.
I DO have a clear title for the car.
Bad health forces sale. If it doesn't sell, or i get low balled, I will remove the good parts and sell on ebay.
